Re: TextMaker persists in closing the current document
Why did you post a question about TextMaker for an Android device in the discussion area for Windows, when you posted the same question in the correct place a day earlier?

Re: Centralise an object/picture in a text document
The distinction between just inserting and image as opposed to inserting an image frame in TextMaker can be a bit confusing. However, if the only issue is placing the image in the center of the page, it doesn't need to be entered as an image frame. It will need to be an image frame if you want the t...

Re: Product key of Softmaker Office 2021 Standard
I am not affiliated with SoftMaker in any way but similar questions have arisen in the past. I don't think there is an official policy on this. I have not seen any way to reset your installations counter to zero by formally uninstalling from one computer before installing on another. If you actually...

Re: Product key of Softmaker Office 2021 Standard
There are no "free" licenses for SoftMaker Office. When someone purchases SoftMaker Office, per the SoftMaker Office web site, that copy is "Licensed for 5 computers of the same household, or 1 computer of a company or organization" If your friend purchased Softmaker Office speci...

Re: Inserting day before
When I just tested it, Ctrl+> entered today's day and date, but Ctrl+< didn't enter anything.
But even if it worked as you describe, it would not answer the question, which was for a keyboard shortcut to enter yesterday's date.

Re: Rendering problem on some PDF files.
Using a stroke to make a font bolder is a horrible idea, typographically speaking. Of course it's a bad idea, but it wasn't my idea. I didn't even know that Word offered that "feature" until I read this gentleman's post. I tried it for the sole reason of seeing what the result would be. W...

Re: Rendering problem on some PDF files.
Since other virtual printers are experiencing the same or even more issues, it appears the problem lies with the software where you tried this new feature. We recommend reporting the issue to their forum or support team. Alternatively, you could wait for their upcoming updates, as they might addres...

How to enter em spaces and en spaces?
Microsoft Word allows easy access to what they call "special characters" when using the Insert>Symbol process. This allows entering em spaces and en spaces, for which no keyboard shortcuts are available. TextMaker also allows inserting em spaces and en spaces. How to do so from the ribbon ...

Re: Cell Format Character
I'm not sure what you mean when you say you "select character or Ctrl-2, it still enters it as a date." I just tested it in PlanMaker for Windows and it works properly. The way it works is that BEFORE entering data, highlight the cells you want to enter that data style in, right click on a...

Re: Caps lock indicator
I know there is no such option. I'm asking that this be added to the list of wanted features for future releases. As we see more and more budget laptop computers, wireless keyboards and Bluetooth keyboards, the caps lock light has become an endangered species. Having an indicator at the bottom of th...

Re: Vertical text - Classic menu
Somewhere, somehow, I managed to snag a TextMaker user manual dated 1987-2013. I think it covers Textmaker 2012. If you would like a copy of it, send me a private message with a valid e-mail address. I agree that supporting the dual interfaces is a logistical issue. Nonetheless, I also use the class...

Have you activated "Show paragraph marks"? [The backwards 'P' symbol in the menu.] I almost always work with that turned on, so that I can see what's happening in my document in real time.

FreeOffice on Raspberry PI?
Is it possible to install FreeOffice to a Pi Zero running the Raspberry operating system?
If it is possible, I would appreciate it if someone would post the instructions.
Thank you.
