Re: Disappearing data

Hello woody44,

This is exactly the thought I got up with today: I need to handle pCloud differently.

Thanks for your link. I haven't checked it out yet, but (of course) I will soon.

Re: Disappearing data

Maybe I should reverse the copy direction. I would then edit the documents on the SSD. Indeed, I think the chances of ‘corruption’ would then be zero. Then I could/should copy them to the pCloud drive every evening. Just in case my Windows disappears. (Two years ago, I lifted my computer while it wa...

Re: Disappearing data

Dear SuperTech,

All these documents accompany my daily life. I open and close most of them every day.

When you close a document, the question always comes whether you want to save the changes. Of course, I always save the changes.

So I wonder if your advice is meant to be serious.

Re: Disappearing data

Response pCloud Team: " Thank you for contacting pCloud support team. There is no risk of documents being compromised in pCloud when they are open. You can leave your documents open for as long as you like without affecting the integrity of the files. However, if you edit the file while it's o...

Re: Disappearing data

Yes, all my daily documents are in pCloud. Thank you for this reply! I have the impression that unwanted changes are made when a document is left open for some time. So now I try to close documents immediately after use. Sorry that I accused PlanMaker of this. In fact I am happy that PlanMaker is no...

Disappearing data

More and more often, data suddenly disappear from documents: words or numbers disappear or data are copied from one tab to another tab, overwriting data. I know that this is the free version, but nevertheless I don't find this acceptable. In the example the solution is easy, but very often it is not...

Re: White squares instead of logos

Special trick:

First, I attached both programmes to the Start Menu and removed them from the Taskbar.

Then right-click both logos in the Start Menu>More>attach to the Taskbar.

Successful!

So from the program folder in Program Files (x86) it doesn't work properly.

White squares instead of logos

Yesterday I started using SoftMaker FreeOffice 2024. Minor inconveniences: 2021 was still there (not overwritten). All the settings, chosen fonts and dictionaries were no longer there. And so on. I like the new logos (icons?,thumbnails?) for PlanMaker and TextMaker less than the previous ones, but h...

Re: "Insufficient memory"

Hello Mr. SuperTech,

The little screen did not appear since August 28. It is a very small screen (4*4 centimetres or so).

If it shows up again I will take a screenshot and see if there is a log file.

"Insufficient memory"

At the strangest times, a small screen appears in PlanMaker saying " Insufficient memory ". In my opinion, this cannot refer to my computer's memory because there is more than enough of it. Why does this little screen appear? PlanMaker then crashes, which is very annoying, because you have...

Re: Cell values

Hello m3city, All my relevant PlanMaker documents are in one and the same folder called "Daily" (I use them every day). Therefore, I do not understand this path and in my first image you do not see a path either. But the important thing is that I now know how to create an external referenc...

Re: Cell values

Hello m3city, Plus, plus, plus (the easy way) I can probably forget. Yesterday I saw a topic below here called "External reference". In it, Mr. SuperTech refers to the PlanMaker manual. And that is very much in line with what you are saying. But I do not get the reference as in my own imag...

Re: Cell values

Hello m3city, The procedure you describe is new to me and certainly interesting. But I would rather not paste the data from the second file into the first file. Suddenly I made a remarkable discovery: I already have a document for a long time which contains a reference which is exactly what I am loo...
