Thanks for your reply. Indeed, it does work. I downloaded your example, but the background yellow is a little much. Is there a way for me to use AutoShapes in the same manner? It's a commonly-seen use ... especially using the dot character (see attached image). But I haven't been able to locate any feature in TextMaker to extend or autofill a character.
