Major Differences between Freeoffice and Office 2018

I have looked on both the Freeoffice website and Office 2018 website and cannot determine the major differences stated. I have gone on online chat and sent emails to both info and sales and all I get in replies are links to the two websites. I am in the process of recommending an Office Suite to my clients. If I cannot tell them the differences between the free and paid versions how can I get them to purchase? Any help at all rather than just pointing me to the two sites is welcome. I don't need an exhaustive listing, just a few major differences. Thanks
