Object frame, picture preview

I cannot find how to restore the picture preview when I select object frame. I can select object then place the frame where I want it. My picture folder then appears but when I choose a .jpg there is no preview like there used to be. I've searched everywhere for the option.

SoftMaker Office 2018 uses the Gnome file dialogs which don't have a picture preview. This works only if you disable the system file dialogs in Tools=>Options.
