Student Pricing for Office

I am aware that there is a special price for Office 2018 if you are a student. The IT management currently has Microsoft Office 2016 installed. So my question is, does the school that I attend need to have SoftMaker Office 2018 installed in order for students to get special pricing, or can I request a student license for me personally? Because I can't find anything related to students at https://www.softmaker.com/en/education. Any help would be appreciated!

We offer free versions for teachers and schools, but no reduced price for students. I will forward this to product management for further consideration.
