Deb package installation freezes

I'm updating Office 2018 (linux mint): `sudo dpkg -i softmaker-office-2018_976-01_amd64.deb`.

All goes well until near the end. The installer freezes on "Installing for user ******".

I restarted the PC and tried again to no avail. Any advice?

Please uninstall the previously installed version, download the latest version from our website and install it again from the downloaded file through your file manager.

Hi, I'm using Feren OS (based on Mint and Ubuntu). I use Gdebi package installer on FerenOS (KDE Plasma). The update works fine after install for me.
