TextMaker Professional 2021 (rev S1014.0529) 64bit
This 'issue', as reported to the Beta-test forum on
https://forum.softmaker.com/viewtopic.php?f=375&t=19972 ,
has not been fixed.
It is still happening n the now-issued SMO2021 release:
Whenever I try to use Ctrl-V in the search box, even if I expressly click the cursor into the search string field, TM is still always pasting the clipboard string into my document, not into the search field.
Right-click>paste does paste the search string into the search string field.
Ctrl-V always damages the document by pasting the search string into the document text.

that he had been able to reproduce this issue and had reported it to your developers. It is not yet fixed, though.
I do hope we can have this corrected soon.

Re: Ctrl-V fails in SEARCH dialog
DearSoftMaker,
Contrary to the advice you received and passed on from your developers, this bug HAS NOT BEEN FIXED!
I can confirm that it does seem not to happen in quite so many occasions as before but there is at least one where it still happens all the time.
Whenever I do this:
Please, please, hurry up and get all these bugs out of TextMaker 21.

Whenever I do this:
- Select a text string from a document I have open in one tab,
Go to another tab where I want to find it.
Press Ctrl F then Ctrl V,
- Switches tabs for me
Opens a search dialog
Stamps the search string into the document text not the search field
Leaves the dialog search field untouched.
- Select a text string from a document I have open in one tab,
Go to another tab where I want to find it.
Press Ctrl F
Click the mouse pointer in the dialog search field
Press Ctrl V,
Please, please, hurry up and get all these bugs out of TextMaker 21.
