What has happened to the 'Compress pictures' option?
The online manual still says it's on the System tab in the Options dialog box, but I can't find it there or anywhere else?

Re: Compress pictures
We have removed it. It slowed TextMaker down, and most PCs today have enough memory to not need it.
Note that this did not compress images in the file, just how they are handled in memory.

Re: Compress pictures
Understood.
I know you can't compress pictures in the document much or at all if they're stored as .jpg etc. I hope they are stored like that.
