Mac Printing issues

Good Morning,


This morning I attempted to print 1st Thess 4 15-18 with TextMaker 2021. (See attached document)

Unfortunately, the verses would not print with TextMaker. They print perfectly with Word 2016 for Mac.

If I try printing with the Apple Printing system I receive useless symbols. (See Attached)

If I try printing with the Cups driver, I hear a beep and nothing ever prints.

My printer is a Canon Color ImageClass Mf632cdw

The latest Canon Print driver was released in Nov 2020.


Operating System: MacOS 11.01

To investigate this problem further we need the following details, please try to check the SoftMaker Office print dialog: “Print to file” option. Then store the output into some file (it should be a PDF file) and send it to us. You can also try to print that PDF file in some PDF viewer and tell us if it was printed ok that way or not.

I have created a PDF document in three different ways.

1st Method:

File, Export as PDF.

Using this method the PDF looks normal in Preview (Built in Mac PDF viewer). However, the PDF does not print correctly.

Print Results:

2nd Method:

File, Print, Apple Print Dialog System, Print, Open in Preview

Looks normal in Mac Preview. Unfortunately, the same printing results as above.


Third Method:


File, Print, Print to File, open PDF in Mac Preview, File Print

Looks normal in Mac Preview. Unfortunately, the same printing results as above.



Microsoft Word 2016 prints this file correctly. Preview also prints this file correctly if I create a PDF from Word. (File, Print, Apple Print Dialog System, Print, Open in Preview)

I attempted to upload the file created with the following procedure:

File, Print, Print to file.

Unfortunately, the file is too large to be attached to this forum.
