Hi there,
I have searched for this in the forum and couldn't find it, but apologies if it has been discussed.
I am trying to set up smarttext so it changes the 2 in km2 to superscript (I'm kind of surprised/disappointed that it doesn't do it automatically). Easy enough, but to do it I have to check the box that says apply formatting, which in turn makes it font-specific. It will change it, but it will change into whatever font and size it was set up in, rather than the format of the text. Is there any way to set it up so that it changes it and keeps it in the text format?
Any help much appreciated!

Smarttext when applying formatting changes font
Re: Smarttext when applying formatting changes font
To define a SmartText entry replacing "km2" with "km²", you shouldn't use "Apply formatting" to insert a superscripted ordinary "2", but insert the appropriate Unicode character "²" (U00B2 from "Latin-1 Supplement") instead. This works with almost every font.
