Saving File Doesn't save to the existing file

when i do control + s or click the save file button, it creates a new file in the same location with the same name and overwrites the existing file.
because of this, the created, modified, and accessed times are always the same which makes it very annoying to manage my documents

You are right. This happens with docx, otd and tmdx file formats.

We are looking at this, but there is a reason: if the saving fails, at least the older file should be preserved. If we simply overwrite it, it is gone.
Anyway, I forwarded the problem to the developers. Maybe they can find a way to check those dates before overwriting and then write them into the new file.
