Alt+0160 inserts breaking space

I want to enter a non-breaking space in a text box. Suprisingly, Alt+0160 gave me a breaking space. Did I do something wrong? I'm on Windows 10.

I just checked: Alt+0160 works fine in TextMaker.

It's been a few years and I have upgraded to FlexiPDF 2025. I still can't figure out how to get a non-breaking space in a text box. I can produce a non-breaking space in TextMaker, but not in FlexiPDF. Please advise.
