Trouble with accented characters

So I've downloaded this program for my tablet and I've been loving it so far. However, I use accented characters quite a bit and whenever i use them the text duplicates, which is a major annoyance as far a productivity goes. Does anyone know which setting to turn off or how to fix this issue?
