Remove Borders Around Page Numbers

Post by raccoon85 »

Hi,
I’m looking for a way to remove or hide the borders around the page number fields. I understand these borders won’t appear in printed documents or PDFs, but for academic documents that need to be submitted in .docx format, these frames can make the document look unprofessional.

Is there a way to remove these borders so that the document appears properly formatted to the recipient?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Krzysztof

They are not only not printed, they won't even show when you open the document in Word.

To remove this guideline in TextMaker anyway, please click on ribbon command File | Options | View tab | uncheck option “Frame guidelines” | OK.

Thank you so much! Now everything is perfect!

I’m sorry I couldn’t figure it out earlier because I use the Polish version, where this option is translated as "Wskazówki dotyczące ramki". This can be interpreted as "Show additional information about frames" in this context. In Polish, the word "guidelines" can also mean "helpful additional information," which might make the translation a bit confusing.

I think it would be much clearer if this option were translated as something like:
Pokaż ramki pomocnicze – which in English would be something like "Show frames" or "Show guidelines."

Sorry, I just wanted to clarify that.
The app is perfect, and I also use PlanMaker a lot – it’s perfect too.
Thank you!

I have reported your translation change request to our Polish translator.
