Hi using Office NX on a Mac running Sequoia 15.1
Was working fine, but when going into Textmaker, the application freezes and sometimes touches get a spinning wheel. You can't interact with the app as it appears frozen and in the launch bar it says application has stopped responding. However, if you leave it for a minute or two, eventually it does respond and behave normally, but then crashes.
Extract from Mac crash diagnostics:
Event: hang
Duration: 39.93s
Duration Sampled: 4.30s (process was unresponsive for 36 seconds before sampling)
Steps: 43 (100ms sampling interval)
Just loaded planmaker and had a similar experience, although it recovered quicker (15-20 seconds) and has not crashed yet.
Freezing issue with Macbook Air M1
Re: Freezing issue with Macbook Air M1
Thank you for sharing your issue with us. To better understand the problem and assist you more effectively, could you please clarify the following:
1. Does the app freeze intermittently, or does it freeze every time you launch it?
2. Does the freezing occur when starting the app with a blank file, with a specific file, or with any file in general?
3. Have you updated SoftMaker Office to the latest version?
Additionally, you may want to try renaming the /SoftMaker/Settings folder and see if that resolves the issue.

Re: Freezing issue with Macbook Air M1
Having same issue with Textmaker and Planmaker. Latest version. Opens OK, sometime slow. Then if you try to do something, like paste data into a cell or enter data manually, you get spinning wheel and app freezes. Similar issues with text in Textmaker. Makes it unusable. Running on a Macbook Air M1 chip (2020) and Sequoia 15.2
