Different header and footer on the first page
Different header and footer on the first page
If i open a document modified on ms office that contains different header and footer it works fine, nevertheless if i create a new document, i dont seem to find a way to have a different footer and header for the first page. Can you please let me know if this is possible and how?
Re: Different header and footer on the first page
To treat first page differently, please click on ribbon command Layout | Chapter | Chapter tab | check the option “Different first page” | Click OK. Then you will be able to set different Header/footer etc. for the first page.
Re: Different header and footer on the first page
I do this, still I cannot have a different header on the the first page of the chapter. In a book there is no header on the first page of a chapter, but how can I do this in Textmaker? I'm a NX subscriber, and cannot use Textmaker if I cannot solve this. When I remove the text in the header of the first page of a chapter, all the others are changed as well -- even if I have chosen "different first page", what is the problem?
Re: Different header and footer on the first page
Thank you for following the steps provided. However, I am unable to reproduce the issue, as the steps seem to be working fine on my end.
