Can someone tell me, how i can increase the size of the SoftMaker program on my laptop screen, as i can hardly see the icons on it.

Try the "Touch mode" command in the QAT for bigger icons.

Yes, i did try that and it did make a small difference but not big enough i'm afraid

Then try this too, maybe it could help better:
File | Options >> Appearance tab. There is a button "User interface size" which opens another dialog box to adjust the size of icons.
The Touch mode is available here as well.
