I just downloaded FreeOffice 2024 2025-12-20: Revision 1230. It needs Rosetta 2 to install. I am unwilling to install Rosetta 2 for one program.
I see that an earlier version 2024-07-12: Revision 1216 has universal support for Intel and Apple Silicon.
What's going on?

Do you have any updated information about this? I agree that using Intel emulation shouldn't be required.
