I cannot, for the life of me, find the option to keep background images. This is frustrating. I've spent 1-1/2 hours searching for it, both in the program and online, without success.
I finally had to export as a PPTX and open it with LibreOffice Impress, where I was then able to export to PDF with backgrounds. But, this is unacceptable work flow. I'm either missing something or Presentations does not allow printing backgrounds.
Does anyone know if it's either or how I can default to that, please? I didn't spend dozens of hours doing background design for a presentation to have it come out blank as a PDF or printed.

Yes, there is no option to exclude it either.grizzlyak wrote: Mon Mar 30, 2026 6:21 am Thank you for the response. I don't even see an option to include backgrounds.
I meant the PPTX or PRDX file in which you are experiencing this problem.SuperTech wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2026 5:51 pm Please send us the file where you are experiencing this issue so we can test it here.

Re: Presentations 2024 for Linux: Printing background images
Okay, I sent the PRDX file. The default action seems to be to not print the background, which is fine. I just cannot find anywhere that it is explicitly stated to use or not use backgrounds. Thank you in advance for taking a look at this.

Thank you for sharing the sample file.
I am able to reproduce the issue, but it seems to occur only with this specific PNG file. I have forwarded the details to our development team for further investigation.
