Hello,
I am making a sheet with all my music (albums, cd's, singles, DVD's, etc.). I made an index with all the artists and sheets with all the artists separate.
In the index I want to make a hyperlink to the tab with the same name (on which I wrote all the albums of that particular artist).
I tried to do it with "Help-function" online but that doesn't work as I think it should...
Who can help?!?!?
T.i.a.
Andy

I am not sure that I really understand the problem, but here is an exemplary PMDX file with a hyperlink on sheet1, catapulting you to sheet2.AndyA1960 wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2026 5:09 pm In the index I want to make a hyperlink to the tab with the same name (on which I wrote all the albums of that particular artist).

I am glad it worked for you in the end, also because of my insecurity and the fact that the procedure may – in fact – be a little awkward.AndyA1960 wrote: Wed Apr 01, 2026 9:42 am Thanks for your reaction. This looks like what I want but I tried and it didn't work...
However, if you can point to the precise difficulty that you had in trying to apply a hyperlink to anything, it would be helpful. The final solution is not so interesting.., as there can only be one anyway.

Re: Link to another tab
At first I had punctuations in the link I thought was the good one... comma isn't allowed, aswell as brackets etc. So if I want to make a link to a tab it has to be as follows (in Dutch!):
"Opmaak"
"Link"
In "URL" you write the complete path to the file you want to use.
In "Target" you write the sheet's name: f.i. Mother's Finest (which is wrong because of the apostrophe!), this should be: Mothers Finest, then you tell the program where to start in the sheet Mothers Finest: Mothers Finest!A2 or *****!B17, or whatever. Needless to say that f.i. Harold Melvin & the Bluenotes
won't get a good result, link isn't going to work, the "&" should be replaced by "and".
In the hyperlinktext (last field) you can write anything you want, even "Harold Melvin & the Bluenotes.
