Love Softmaker Free Office! (A Review)

Dear SoftMaker,

Having used SoftMaker Free Office for many years on my laptop, I have since removed Office 2010, and replaced it with SoftMaker Free Office 2024 on my desktop.

I did this because while Office 2010 was working OK, I wanted a more streamlined and simpler to use interface. I refuse to pay for any subscription software, and find SoftMaker Office to be a pleasure to use! I was able to use the same license key that I had for SoftMaker Free Office on my laptop for my desktop. I absolutely love all the file formats in SoftMaker Free Office. Additionally, I struggle with photophobia, and needed Dark Mode, which Office 2010 does not have.

The speed of opening Documents in SoftMaker Free Office is amazing! Almost twice as fast as Office 2010 and there is no bloat! The choice of Interfaces, and Classic Toolbars or Ribbons is awesome! I love the ease of use and integration!

Very good review, and (with the exception of dark mode) I agree with all you wrote.

Clarification: For those who prefer dark mode, the fact that FreeOffice offers it is very much a good thing. I simply don't like it, but I am a visually oriented person. I want to see what my documents will look like, and having a white page against a dark or black field when working is worse that leaving the background white. (For me.)
