Today again: document "Energy consumption" is open. Cloud service is off.

I drink 2 cups of tea and return to the computer.

The number of "Year consumption" is replaced by a 'w' (again). No possibility to go back one step.

Close the document and don't save the changes. The only way out.

Start again filling in the changes.

What you're describing is highly unusual. FreeOffice, as a software application, cannot modify data autonomously without a specific user command or external trigger. This suggests the problem may be caused by an external factor.

To help us diagnose the cause, we recommend the following steps:

1. Test in a Clean Environment: Please try to reproduce the issue while running Windows in Safe Mode. This will disable most third-party applications and help determine if another program is interfering.

2. Check for Background Software: Do you have any macro automation, clipboard managers, or other utilities running that might interact with your open documents?

3. Perform a Clean Reinstall: Please completely uninstall FreeOffice, then download and install the latest fresh copy from our website. This will help rule out any potential file corruption.

We take stability very seriously. By working through these steps, we can isolate the cause.
To clarify, as I explained, the behavior you're describing cannot be caused by FreeOffice itself. Their diagnosis points to an external factor, such as your operating system or a third-party tool.

Since the required diagnostic steps have been provided before but not followed, we cannot investigate this further. Our support team can only resolve issues that occur within the standard functionality of FreeOffice.

Dear SuperTech,

What I did was just searching an outlet for my frustrations in this matter.

I use PlanMaker and then this happens now and then. While I am only drinking tea. My computer is as simple as possible: no special features.

In my opinion a deep research like you propose is just another annoying thing.

But I appreciate your good intentions. Please, keep up the good work.
