Unreadable UI Text

Hey,

for some reason the UI text on elementary OS is white on a bright background. Choosing a black theme only works around part of the problem, since sections with a white background (like the sidebar) still have white text. Even explicitly black colored written text on the document is rendered white. So for some reason the application thinks "black = white".

Any way to fix this?

Hi, you could try to go to File | Options | System | Use OpenGL engine (disable it) to see if it solves the issue.

Thank you! OpenGL driver was actually the culprit here.
Figured it out yesterday already, and wanted to answer my own question for people who encounter the same problem in the future. But since the post needed to be white listed I couldn't
