Was adding an email address to my footer and Softmaker absolutely insists on making it a hyperlink. Right clicking gives me the footer context menu but no way to remove the link. I tried the workaround of creating the address in the body of the text (without a hyperlink), then pasting the address into the footer, but Textmaker turns it back into a hyperlink.
Edit: I did find a "sort of" workaround, and that's to "underline" the link. That appears to get rid of the underline when printing.
BUG: Can't remove hyperlink from text in header/footer
Re: BUG: Can't remove hyperlink from text in header/footer
Select the email (don't include any spaces), then go to Insert | Hyperlink and then delete the link

You can also disable automatic hyperlinking in the Options dialog box (generally), or remove the automatic hyperlinking on a case-by-case basis by pressing Undo immediately after TextMaker turns something into a hyperlink.
