Bug: Cannot generate Bibliographic references

This happens at least on Linux, I am not sure about other platforms, but on Linux Ubuntu 20.04 LTS this does happen. I am unable to generate the bibliography from a database file. I have created a SQLite database for the references and inserted two references, at a later time I do References->Bibliography->Manage->Use existing database... and select file biblio.sqlite which is properly loaded. At such point a I click on References->Bibliography->Generate and the Placement group is always grayed out/disabled, I cannot select any option in the combo box and then when I click the button OK, nothing happens, no references are inserted in the text at the cursor location, or anywhere else in the document. This no matter whatever the Mask I use for the bibliographic references.

When the two radio buttons are grayed, this means you don't have a bibliography yet in your document and so it will create a new one (the checked of the grayed options).

As to why clicking OK doesn't create one, we would need to see your document. Please e-mail it to forum (at) softmaker.com and mention this thread.
