Caps lock indicator

I recently had to replace the keyboard in my laptop computer. The new keyboard doesn't have a caps lock indicator light. All three applications in SoftMaker Office 9TextMaker, PlanMaker, and Presentations) have an indicator on the bottom of the screen to indicate if the keyboard is in insert or overtype mode. Would it be possible to add an indicator for caps lock?

I know there is no such option. I'm asking that this be added to the list of wanted features for future releases. As we see more and more budget laptop computers, wireless keyboards and Bluetooth keyboards, the caps lock light has become an endangered species. Having an indicator at the bottom of the screen would be extremely useful. Of course, the folks who write the operating system software should take the lead on this -- but they don't.
