How to turn off the "welcome to freeoffice" tab in the sidebar?

How to turn off the "welcome to freeoffice" tab in the sidebar?

How to make this welcome tab/tutorial go away? There seem to be check boxes in this right click menu indicating that I can hide or show the items in this sidebar, but whenever I try to click them it only changes the side on which the sidebar displays.
