I'm new to FreeOffice , it appears to be very good software!
One feature I find neat (and better than in LibreOffice) is that you can move an object (chart, picture...) with the keyboard arrow keys and also control the speed with the "ctrl" or "shift" keys.
A few initial suggestions:
- please make the scrollbar be at the very right edge of the window, so that you don't have to be very careful when trying to click on it with the mouse. Take example from chrome browser: you just move the cursor to the very right and start dragging, it works even if you get a bit past the actual scrollbar (as long as the window is maximized).
I know that currently you have the right-side "sidebar" openner there- but could you place that somewhere on the top margin of the sidebar? Above the top-right corner of the cells' area.
- Please make it preserve the focus when switching from one tab (sheet) to another. Currently, if I click on a chart, then when I move to another sheet that focus is lost
