Turn off show page breaks by default?

Is there a setting to turn off showing page breaks by default? It's really tedious having to turn them off manually for each tab in a document and definitely don't want them by default in new documents.

Please follow below steps to achieve the same:
1. Open your default template, e.g. [C:\Documents\SoftMaker\PlanMaker NX templates\English (US)\normal.pmvx]
2. Go to ribbon command View I View Group I Uncheck Show Page Break
3. Save the file in same path.

I did have to search for the file though, as the example you gave is for Windows and I'm using Linux:
