Uppercase to Lowercase letter and vice versa

Post by gitts77 »

I am using FreeOffice Planmaker 2024 more like doing a Microsoft Excel WorkSheet.
Some of the information was already in Uppercase, and some are in Lowercase.
I want to make all the information to be in Lowercase. How do I do that, without physically having to type those already in Uppercase to Lowercase?

Depends on what you want:

1. You can use function =LOWER(String) for converting it to lowercase dynamically.
2. Shift+F3 to convert the string in a cell at one time, cycling through different casing options.

I am using this as an example.
A few years ago I used a software which showed Uppercase and Lowercase as part of its heading.
I want to use Lowercase in this example:

(a) JACK WENT UP A HILL TO FETCH A PALE OF WATER (Uppercase)

(b) Jack went up a hill to fetch a pale of water (Lowercase)

If one is to highlight (a) and use some sort of key or combination thereof to achieve what is in (b) then that's exactly what I am looking for, that's exactly what is required.

Select the text, press Shift+F3 repeatedly until it shows the casing you like.
